Celebrating Womanhood

Virginia Woolf once wrote “I want to write a novel about silence, the things people don’t say” and I thought about how women lead invisible lives and have so many versions of themselves left to meet. How stories flow through our veins like blood and its depth and urgency to ooze out from a small cut makes me think that everyone wants to tell their story but is either short of words or an understanding that their voice is meant to be heard.

Our lives are just commas escaping the full stop, and I strongly believe in the power of stories to not only make us feel at home but to give us a kind nudge forward.

I have realized that everyone has something to say, and often the greatest stories stay hidden in the mundane, but every voice has a story untold and every action is the next direction.

It is to provide a voice to these women who have stories flowing through their veins, warmth waiting to embrace, and colours waiting to brighten our lives. It can be a pat on the back or a hug in disguise, to help us grow as a person and have a heart full of happiness and warmth, waiting to exude and put into the universe little dandelions of stories that have never reached their crux. So that you can look at them as mirrors and feel the love, appreciation, and warmth in our hearts for you.

I often think about how humans have become anti-social on social media and how we shirk from showing our true selves to the world because it stays hidden behind titles, responsibilities, hopes, and ambitions. Stories help us acknowledge the tad bit of happiness in our lives which is often lost among the tabs and the posts and the hassles of daily life.

Starting this Friday, I will be sharing Inspiring Women stories at my LinkedIn Page which will celebrate the extraordinary stories of people like you and me who never got a chance to say it out loud. Where people will lay their hearts, bare so that you can pour your hearts out, too, and reclaim the world which belongs to us and help spread love and warmth and happiness.

Look out for a jam-packed inspiring journey with me while I introduce you to some extraordinarily ordinary women from all walks of life.

See you soon………….(https://www.linkedin.com/in/kiranbhatia1/)
